Our Annual Meeting will be held at Jernegan Lodge at The Res on February 10th at 6pm. We will be reviewing Res highlights from 2013 and voting on new board members. Public welcome! Please call to let us know you are coming.
The Annual Res Christmas Tree sale will begin next Saturday, November 30th from 9am-3pm! All tree are just $20. We have a selection of White Pines and Scotch Pines. This year, for the first time, we will also have Christmas Wreaths for sale. The cost of the wreaths is $25.
Our second annual craft bazaar will take place in Jernegan Lodge from 9am-3pm. Santa will be here, too!
Remember to use our new entrance off Lincolnway, east of Capital Ave. Turn north on Kline St. and follow the brown and yellow Res signs.
The first ever Run for the Res was a smashing success, with approximately 120 participants across three events (5K, 1 mile fun run / walk, and kids run). The weather was beautiful and we were thrilled with the turnout. Thank you to everyone who helped make the first Run for the Res such a success!

Mayor Dave Wood will preside over the ribbon cutting dedication of the NEW Scout Lane, leading into the Mishawaka Res on Wednesday, July 17 at 5pm.
In conjunction with the Ribbon Cutting ceremony, The Res will be hosting a Business After Hours through the Mishawaka Business Association from 5pm-7pm to promote the use of Jernegan Lodge as a business meeting center for the community. A unique, rustic environment to host seminars, training sessions, business and annual meetings, with a screen projector available for computer presentations, a meeting at The Res will take you away from the typical business setting. Have break-out sessions, walking the trails… listen to the birds and wildlife, as you enjoy the sounds of Eller Creek while brainstorming!
Special Business After Hour rates are available to those reserving Jernegan Lodge Monday through Thursday. Area caterers are available to provide refreshments or meals for your meeting.
On Saturday, September 7th The Res will be hosting its first ever Run for the Res event! There will be a kids Fun Run, a 1-mile walk, and a 5K Run. All courses will start and end at Hums Elementary School at 3208 Harrison Rd in Mishawaka, IN.
The 5K course is a scenic course on both paved and natural trails running through the Norland Park community, to and thru the shady trails at the Preservation of the Res, Inc. (The Res), and returning to Hums School.
Race day registration and packet pick up will take place from 6:30 am – 7:45 am at Hums School. There is plenty of free parking at the starting location.
