Hoosier Riverwatch Volunteer Monitoring Training

Wonderful training for those interested in education and/or citizen science. This training will prepare you to do your own monitoring of the health of waterways. Email or call the contact info on the flyer to sign up! Once you complete this training, you will be able to borrow equipment from the county to conduct your own tests on water to monitor its health.

Help Us Build Bridges

We have until January 4th, 2024 to raise $15,000 to build new bridges here! All donations will be matched! The bridges here at Mishawaka Res not only allow access to about 20 acres of our property, but they also connect us with the community; with you! They connect us through family events, scout activities, environmental programs, nature walks, and more. Thank you for your continued support! We hope you consider giving to our organization as we continue to give unique nature experiences to you.

New Directors of The Res

The Board of Directors at The Res is excited to introduce Lynnea and Elijah Hamilton as the new Directors of The Res. They are both Mishawaka natives who both began their careers with the City of Mishawaka Parks Dept.

In her free time Lynnea enjoys to bake, hike, play with their two dogs Haven and Daisy, and spend time with loved ones. In Eli’s free time you’ll find him studying history, theology, and philosophy. He also enjoys hiking, exercising, and spending time with loved ones.

Don’t hesitate to say hello if you see them at The Res!
