The Res is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization. Our EIN for reporting tax-deductible contributions is 31-0896539. Donations help us achieve our mission of providing a space for recreation and education in nature. Your contributions help us make facilities improvements, provide educational programs, and cover our operating expenses.

Donate to our Endowment: Visit the Community Foundation of St. Joseph to donate to our endowment. In the Gift Type menu, choose “a favorite charity’s endowed fund.” In the next drop down menu, select “Preservation of the Res.”

Can I volunteer at The Res?

Yes! We love donations of your time! Volunteers can help with landscaping, trail clearing, building and maintenance projects, removal of invasive species, preparing the property for winter, and opening up again in the spring. Contact us if you would like to volunteer at The Res. We always welcome donations of materials, including tools, cleaning supplies, landscaping/lawn equipment, paint, and stain.
