Jernegan Lodge

The Jernegan Lodge was built in 1949 and is the centerpiece facility at The Res. Jernegan Lodge is the largest building on property and it accommodates up to 70 people. The building is equipped with full kitchen facilities (refrigerator, stove, microwave, sink) and is perfect for day and evening meetings as well as reunions, bridal showers, baby showers, family gatherings and other types of events. Ten 6 ft long rectangular tables, one 8 ft long rectangular table, three 3ft diameter round wooden tables, two cards tables, and 60 chairs are included in the rental.

$300 for the day. Arrive as early as 9am. Leave by 8pm.

 

Lions Cabin

Located beneath Jernegan Lodge, the Lions cabin has lodging spaces for up to 24 campers. The cabin has a refrigerator, microwave and stove. The Lions cabin is sponsored by the Lions Club of Mishawaka.

$150/night. Check out 11:00am following day.

 

Kiwanis Cabin

The Kiwanis Cabin is a smaller cabin that accommodates up to 12 campers. The cabin has a refrigerator, microwave, and stove. The Kiwanis Cabin is sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Mishawaka.

$125/night. Check out 11:ooam following day.

 

Tri-Kappa Nature Center and Murraywood Trail

The Tri-Kappa Nature Center and Pavilion is the home to a youth oriented nature education and learning center. The adjoining trail makes up Murraywood Nature Preserve and offers another area to explore the woods of The Res. The nature center is used in conjunction with nature walks, day camps and other nature centered activities at The Res. The Tri-Kappa Nature Center and Pavilion is sponsored by the Tri-Kappa Club of Mishawaka.
