The Res hosted a 41st Anniversary celebration at The Res on October 1st, 2017. About 60 people attended a nice dinner catered by The Curve Cafe on a lovely fall day. In addition to Res members, several Charter members were also in attendance.
Janet Hoke, board president, shared many improvements with the members in attendance. These could not have been done without your support, the two Give Local campaigns by the Community Foundation of St. Joseph County, grants, estate gifts, and memorials.
We also showed a short video showcasing some history of The Res along with recent happenings. Thank you to all of our benefactors, supporters, volunteers, and friends of The Res.
On Saturday, September 6, 2014, The Res hosted its second Run for the Res event! There was a kids’ Fun Run, a 1-mile walk, and a 5K Run. We had wonderful weather, and a great group of participants in the Run and Walk events. This event raised over $2900 for the Mishawaka Res! Thank you to all those who participated in the Run for the Res, as well as our sponsors.

Boy scouts and high school students helped clean up leaves at The Res on a recent sunny Saturday in November. There is always work to be done on the grounds and our Ranger team gets help from volunteer groups and monthly workdays with board members. There is always more work to be done. If you have special skills or time to spare and want to help out, please contact Ranger Dave at firstname.lastname@example.org
